StAMP Brass Project
Since January 2022, StAMP has partnered with Action Music Academy (AMA) on the StAMP Brass music education project. This initiative aims to support and invigorate the cultural heritage of brass playing in schools, communities, and worldwide. The project is a collaborative effort between the University of St Andrews Laidlaw Music Centre, Fife Music Service, Fife Brass Bands, and the Wallace Collection.
A team of teachers from Scotland will be visiting Dar es Salaam to conduct a brass instrument workshop from June 25 to 28, 2024. The workshop will culminate in a performance at the Goethe-Institut Cultural Center in Upanga on June 29.
